Prenatal or Postpartum Nutritional Assessment (virtual)
Through research and clinical experience, I’ve found that many pregnant and postpartum women have underlying nutritional deficiencies that can increase risks of complications during pregnancy, delivery, lactation and postpartum. Moreover, research shows that the recommended dietary allowances (RDAs) for pregnancy and lactation of most vitamins and minerals is far too low. For example, your OB/gyn or midwife may tell you that getting 2.6 mcg of Vitamin B12 is adequate for a healthy pregnancy, yet the research shows almost triple that amount is needed for creating a healthy baby!
This nutrient assessment includes:
- a comprehensive assessment of a 3-Day Food diary
- a thorough women’s health intake form
- a 45 minute virtual session to review your nutritional gaps and a list of personalized recommendations on how to transform your nutritional status.
- a copy of my book, 52 Small Changes for the Family.
