Transitioning to solid foods is an exciting phase for families with babies. This new phase can take up to two years and with it can bring many questions for parents. In this family-friendly workshop and one of her baby courses, Danielle Shea Tan, a Lic. Family Nutritionist and founder of Healthy Mamas for Happy Families, will cover when to start solids, which foods to introduce first and why, how to use baby-led weaning and/or purees, the importance of early allergen introduction and helping your baby create a positive relationship to food. We’ll even cover some favorite questions such as transitioning to sippy cup, pros and cons of starting solids at 4 months, how to ensure baby is getting enough iron and more. Loving caregivers AND their infants are welcome to this event hosted by Stork Ready Childcare Center.
